Rachel Babbitt, MSW, MPP
Principle coach and consultant
Rachel is a social worker and community organizer with 20 years experience working with individuals and communities. She previously worked as the Missioner for Community Engagement with the Episcopal Church in Minnesota where she assisted faith communities in developing mission partnership and supported diocesan work around creation care and racial justice. Rachel also worked for ten years with families experiencing homelessness, partnering with over 100 faith communities and many social service agencies to maximize the agencies’ support for their clients. Rachel has worked in public policy at the community, state, and national level. Rachel holds a dual Master’s degree in Social Work and Public Policy.
When Rachel isn’t working, she is often with the many children and young people in her life or traveling the globe as an avid adventurer. She is a self-described coffee snob and foodie and enjoys the many wonderful restaurants in her community. She also believes that the key to being healthy is to balance work and play and that self-care must be a key part of people and a community’s practice. Rachel is an Episcopalian and member at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, in Minneapolis. Her faith plays a large role in her life with the guiding principle that the best way to show-up in this world is to lead with love — a tough and unconditional love that is full of boundaries and accountability.
